About Dee

Being an artist was never on my horizon, but has now become a very personal and gratifying journey, with acrylics being my medium of preference.  I have been critiqued as being more of an Impressionist artist, painting about people and their everyday surroundings.  Both bold and delicate brushstrokes, with vibrant and soft colors, bathe my canvas with "emotion, character, and passion." I also enjoy creating landscapes of a variety of nature and the vast beauty they behold.

Re-creating memories and treasures through commissions has rapidly become one of my specialties, yielding satisfied and happy clients, with each holding its own unique challenge. 

Education has come in the form of formal classes with individual artists, numerous tutorials and seminars with a variety of amazing and talented artists.  Reading and research are much-used tools in my quest as a creator of fine art.

My goal as a artist is to continue to learn, grow, and challenge myself to raise the bar to a high level with each brushstroke.  I hope you enjoy my creations.
